Flexible Discount Tickets Are Back
Tickets Available October 24 at 10:00 am at Newport Visitor Information Center
NEWPORT, RI, October 23, 2013 – The Newport Jazz Festival® 60th Anniversary is set for August 1 – 3, 2014 and the Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc.™ is already celebrating. Jazz fans can stake their claim in the history of jazz by purchasing flexible discount tickets while supplies last at the Newport Visitor Information Center, 23 America’s Cup Avenue, beginning October 24 at 10:00 am.
The $55 “Flex” tickets can be used for adult general admission either Saturday or Sunday to the concerts at Fort Adams State Park, so there is no need for fans to decide now which day to attend. General admission tickets are regularly priced at $74. Jazz lovers should act now to take advantage of this great savings. The offer is not valid on reserved seats, or for the Friday evening concert at the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino.
Special $20 Student tickets are also back and a limited number of flexible tickets are available at this rate. High school students older than 15 and college students with valid ID must use the Student Gate and present valid ID to enter the festival. Students without valid ID will be directed to the Box Office to pay the difference of a general admission ticket. Flex tickets for Children ages 3 – 15 are $ 15.
Stay tuned for information on a day-time event at Fort Adams on Friday, August 1. Students can use Flex tickets for Friday as well, but for the best pricing, adult buyers are advised to use Flex tickets for Saturday or Sunday concerts.
