BROOKLYN, December 01, 2016 – Experience the musical celebration of the gift of Christmas and the rich heritage of soul food when New Journey Church of Brooklyn presents Holiday Praise with Vickie Winans, a concert and buffet dinner set for Friday, December 23, 8:00 pm, at Thomasina’s, 205-35 Linden Blvd. in St. Albans (Queens), NY.
Ms. Winans will perform some of her renowned hits, which include “Long As I Got King Jesus,” “We Shall Behold Him,” “Shake Yourself Loose,” “Work It Out,” “Release It,” “No Cross, No Crown” and many others.

With 20 albums and performance DVDs to her name, the multiple Stellar Award winner and Grammy nominee is also a nationally-known comedienne, producer, director, songwriter, actress and jewelry designer. She is revered as a consummate business woman who heads up Viviane, Inc., where she manages herself and books hundreds of concerts every year. She is also president of her own label, Destiny Joy Records.
Her most rewarding accomplishments, Winans says, are the significant roles she plays with her family. In addition to her 11 sisters and brothers, she is the wife of businessman Joe McLemore, the mother of two hit producers, sons Mario Winans and Marvin Winans, Jr. and a grandmother of five.
